Featured Brands & Where to Buy

Boone County Logo.png

In 1833 in Kentucky’s Boone County, a region of proud limestone hills that gradually fell to their knees at the banks of the Ohio River, a man named William Snyder made a decision that would impact the region 182 years later: He decided to buy a flour mill.

And within three years he had begun operating a distillery in conjunction with the mill. Soon, his whiskey business was one of the largest in the nation, and far exceeded his profits in flour. And while we might consider Snyder an extraordinary man, he was typical of those with a pioneering spirit back in the day. They saw opportunity, and took risks. For them, the biggest risk was in doing nothing.

It’s in a similar pioneering spirit that Boone County Distilling Company is now making authentic bourbon whiskey in the northern hills of Kentucky. Their brand is a living tribute to those that came before, men like Snyder and others, including Col William Appleton, J.C. Jenkins and James Gaff. Julius Freiberg and Levi Workum. Their stories infuse the Boone County brand with truth and determination. They are all part of the story.

Brenne is the world’s first single malt aged exclusively in both new French Limousin Oak barrels and Cognac casks. Founded by former ballerina turned whisky entrepreneur, Allison Parc, Brenne was started with Allison's small life savings and a big dream to show terroir (a sense of place in the smell and taste) is possible when making great single malt whisky. She created Brenne from seed to spirit, with a third-generation Cognac maker at this family farm-distillery in the heart of Cognac, France. First released in New York City in 2012, the award-winning whisky embodies the elegant nature of its French terroir and brings a completely new style of French single malt whisky to the rapidly emerging world whisky segment.

Allison self-distributed the first bottles of Brenne via Citi Bike in Manhattan, placing the product on the shelves of the city’s top establishments and retailers. The flagship Brenne Estate Cask sold out within two months and Allison expanded distribution to 35 states, and France, over the next few years. Her second expression, Brenne Ten, was introduced in October 2015; only about 300 cases of the limited-edition 10-year-old single malt whisky are available each year.

On March 8, 2017, International Women’s Day, Allison signed a partnership deal to align the brand with distributor groups across the country. Today, Brenne is sold in all major markets and in top bars around the world.

The story of Hotel Tango starts on April 14, 2002, when Travis Barnes, profoundly affected by the terrorist attacks of September 11, enlists in the U.S. Marine Corps. At Boot Camp, Travis quickly learns that there is only one acceptable way of doing things: the right way. Travis serves three tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He sees extensive combat, his missions including knock-and-talks, IED interdiction, ambush/counter-ambush, and direct-action raids on High Value Targets. He learns the importance of surrounding yourself with people you can depend on.

Travis attends and graduates law school. He meets Hilary and marries her in August 2012. He begins making whiskey, applying the same rigor, precision, and unwavering commitment he learned during his time serving his country. His whiskey is a resounding success.

With plenty of encouragement, Travis, Hilary, and some friends start Hotel Tango in 2014. To honor Travis’ military service, they it based on the NATO phonetic alphabet: Hotel for Hilary, Tango for Travis. Surrounding themselves with exceptional people at every level, they focus on crafting equally exceptional spirits—spirits that reflect Travis’ exacting standards, spirits that are fit to serve, and made to share.

Jeptha Creed Distillery uses old fashioned methods to meet today’s demanding modern tastes. We use only the finest ingredients, locally grown and sourced (when possible) to ensure our products meet the highest expectations for quality and flavor. You could say we’re history in the making, but really we’re making old fashion new.

Owned and operated by dynamic mother-and-daughter duo Joyce and Autumn Nethery, Jeptha Creed sits on 64 acres of farmland, where we grow the Bloody Butcher Corn we use for all of our products. One of the things we’re most proud of here at Jeptha Creed is our commitment to the ground to glass concept. Whenever we can, we grow the ingredients that we use in our spirits.

What we don’t produce ourselves, we get from other farms in the area so we can do our part to support local agriculture. These are things that have been ingrained into our family’s way of doing things for centuries—and will continue to be as we grow and expand. Since its inception, Jeptha Creed has been proud to serve its customers unmatched spirits and unforgettable experiences. With an unwavering commitment to honoring our heritage, we make old fashion new by giving it just a little kick.

New riff logo NB.png

We are a new riff on the old tradition: Kentucky Bourbon. Founded in 2014 by Ken Lewis, a visionary Kentucky liquor retailer and entrepreneur, New Riff is led by a team of corporate refugees ranging from craft beer to politics and more. New Riff crafts a range of whiskeys—Bourbon, Rye, and eventually Malted Rye and a host of specialty recipes—as well as Kentucky Wild Gin. Our mission is simple: to someday be counted among the world’s great small distilleries. Becoming one of the great small distilleries of the world is a long term play, with no exact ring to win, or title to be declared.

We are independently owned by one family, and that independence, the freedom from outside pressures and interests, has allowed us to make an unforeseen declaration for quality: for perhaps the first time since the inception of the Bottled in Bond Act in 1897, a Kentucky sour mash whiskey distillery has committed itself exclusively to that quality standard, the world’s highest. And we proudly lift that bar even higher by bottling without chill filtration.

We are inspired by the great Bourbon makers of the past and the wider tradition in Kentucky—but we will play our own riff, on the Sour Mash Kentucky Regimen, both with our standard of Bottled in Bond Without Chill Filtration, and through applying that production regimen to wholly new styles of Kentucky whiskey. At the end of the day, despite playing a free hand to improvise and create Kentucky whiskey anew, we uphold above all else the time-honored Sour Mash Kentucky Regimen: we believe it’s a fantastic way to make whiskey, fully the equal of the traditions of the world’s great whiskeys.

We are on a mission to revitalize the earth by planting trees, building communities, and of course, enjoying great whiskey. Noble Oak was created with a goal of offering a great whiskey that gives back. It's simple - every bottle plants a tree. For three years now, we have worked with our partners at One Tree Planted to plant trees in areas of need around the country. Our efforts have spanned from the Redwood Forest in California to Detroit, Michigan, to the Finger Lakes in New York, and everywhere in between.

First, we traditionally rest our whiskey in charred new American White Oak barrels for a minimum of one year, developing sweet vanilla notes and a deep caramel tone.

Then, we finish our whiskey using either sherry or port wine cask staves to impart additional complexity.

The result? Unique flavors that are elegantly balanced and bold.

Every bottle plants a tree. In Mendocino County, we're protecting the water quality for future generations. In Detroit, we're building the city's urban forest to create stronger neighborhoods and healthier homes. In New York, we're reducing potential for erosion.

West Fork logo.png

Simply stated, we are hell-bent on creating great whiskey and paying homage to Indiana’s rich

distilling history.

As three Indiana natives, we brought West Fork Whiskey Co. to life to share our interpretation of America's native spirit with the world.

We create sippable, smooth whiskeys our way — always 100% Indiana from grain to glass. We toast to hard work and uncompromising dedication by paying respect to one of the best grain-producing states in America.

At the end of the day, what matters most to us is being an Indiana distillery that produces whiskey that tastes great to you.

Join us at our tasting room.Whether you try our wheat-centric bourbon, our earthy and spicy rye, or any of our other whiskeys, our goal is to create high quality, affordable spirits, that simply taste great. Visit us and see how we do whiskey differently.

We work each day within this city, over these cobblestone streets, in Red Hook at the juncture of old and new New York City. Where things get done in their own way—a place that defines itself.

Widow Jane scours the country for the finest barrels of Straight Bourbon & Rye Whiskeys. Hand assembled right here in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, we bring these to you with non chill-filtration, and proofed with a hard-yet-sweet pure limestone water. When the Widow Jane team set out to produce our own whiskey, we wanted to offer something that was bold and rich with character, but most importantly had the intense taste of New York in each sip. All Widow Jane whiskeys are proofed with pure limestone mineral water from the legendary Rosendale Mines of NY, just 100 miles north of our home in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

We also distill every week in Red Hook using the finest non-GMO ingredients, including corn varietals such as Baby Jane that are unique to us and that we have nurtured over many years.

We make bourbon in small batches at our distillery in Kirby, Wyoming. From day one, every drop of Wyoming Whiskey was made in Kirby and aged in one of our six rick houses. That’s not true of every whiskey you run into. We don’t pass judgment, but it means a lot to us and we hope it means something to you.

Our family first came to Wyoming as ranchers in 1890. In the ensuing 125 years, our family has continued to work raising cattle and hay at our ranches in Spring Gulch and in Kirby. We’ve also had our share of U.S. Senators, lawyers, extreme skiers, two Wyoming Governors and now whiskey makers.

The Big Horn Basin has everything we need to make great bourbon, and it is important to us to source our ingredients locally. The consistency and uniqueness of these whiskey elements make for a better bourbon that stands apart. It’s the Whiskey of the West.
